| tsti's 2025 Healthy & Happy Workplace

Tatung System Technologies Inc. (tsti) integrates its "Healthy & Happy Workplace" strategy directly into its core corporate governance. Driven by a commitment to "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)", tsti combines rigorous occupational safety management, transparent and competitive compensation, human rights safeguards, and holistic wellness initiatives to build a highly resilient enterprise.

The core areas defining tsti's happy and healthy workplace environment include:

1. Award-Winning Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S)

tsti enforces a systematic OHS structure aligned with international standard certifications and proactive risk monitoring:

  • Top 10% OHS Governance Recognition: In the 2025 voluntary performance assessment by the Ministry of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), tsti was honored as a TOP 10% Outstanding Enterprise out of 1,370 evaluated firms.
  • ISO 45001 Certification: tsti was the first ICT system integration service provider in Taiwan to achieve ISO/IEC 45001:2018 certification. In November 2025, the company successfully passed its periodic surveillance audit with 100% worker coverage (covering 360 employees and 2 non-employees at the Taipei Head Office).
  • Zero Fatalities: The company recorded zero work-related fatalities and zero recordable work-related ill health cases among both employees and non-employees over the past three years.
  • Financial Commitment: In 2025, tsti and its subsidiaries invested approximately NT$ 5.51 million in employee health, safety, and supportive benefits.
  • Pioneering "Mental Health Leave": To actively support mental well-being, the Board approved a dedicated Mental Health Leave policy in 2025. Integrated with medical and HR guidance, this policy offers flexible options to alleviate stress and support work-life balance.

2. Promoting a Friendly & Safe Workplace Environment

tsti maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or unlawful infringement of human rights:

  • Violence and Harassment Safeguards: On December 2, 2025, tsti officially issued its updated "Statement on Prevention of Workplace Violence and Unlawful Infringement". In 2025, the company received 5 workplace bullying and sexual harassment complaints; a dedicated investigation committee Substantiated 3 cases. tsti took immediate disciplinary actions, provided mental health adjustment leave, and enforced complete physical isolation of the working environments.
  • Labor Rights Rectification: Following a system logic discrepancy in 2024 that led to minor overtime underpayments for stationed personnel, tsti retroactively calculated and fully disbursed the back pay in 2025. To prevent future errors, the company upgraded its systems to a cloud-based Human Resources Information System (HRIS) with automated calculations and compliance alerts.
  • Employee Association and Collective Voice: While tsti doesn't have an independent enterprise union, employees are free to join the parent company's Tatung Co. Affiliated Enterprises Union. At the end of 2025, 114 employees participated in the union (representing 20% of the consolidated workforce). The company also hosts regular quarterly labor-management meetings.

3. Economic Security, Performance, & Career Development

The company treats competitive compensation as the baseline for talent retention, driving an eight-year streak of salary growth:

  • Strong Compensation Growth: For full-time non-managerial employees, the average annual salary grew by 8.92% (reaching NT$ 952 thousand) in 2025, while the median salary grew by 10.81% (reaching NT$ 789 thousand).
  • Employee Stock Ownership Association (ESOA): Originating from the "Worker-Ownership" concept, tsti’s ESOA has a history of over 30 years. It provides a 40% stock purchase matching subsidy to support employees in accumulating long-term wealth.
  • Clear Dual Career Tracks: Employees are supported through dual career tracks—a Professional Track and a Management Track—which facilitate cross-departmental job rotations (e.g., technical engineers transitioning into solution sales or consultant roles).
  • Performance Accountability: In 2025, 76% of eligible staff (429 employees) underwent regular, structured performance evaluations based on clearly communicated, quantified KPIs.

4. Holistic Health Promotion & Executive Coaching

tsti aims to build a company culture where "exercise is culture and health is competitiveness":

  • The President as a "Health Mentor": In an executive-led coaching initiative, President Ying-Hsiu Liu (who holds a professional National Physical Fitness Instructor certification) personally coached 26 science-based strength and fitness sessions ("Muscle Fitness: Build Strong Vitality"). Supported by external fitness instructors, these drills reached a cumulative 48 sessions and 339 participation.
  • Sports Certifications: The Ministry of Education's Sports Administration awarded the company the Sports Enterprise Certification (valid through 2027) and commended tsti for its Sports Instructor Employment Initiative.
  • Office Ergonomics and Pregnancy Care: Offices are equipped with height-adjustable desks and ergonomic chairs. Pregnant employees receive customized "Warm Pregnancy Gift Sets" (including pregnancy support pillows) to ease physical discomfort.
  • Work-Life Balance Incentives: Under its Annual Leave Incentive Regulations, tsti awards cash bonuses to employees who utilize their paid annual leaves; in 2025, 14 applicants received a total of NT$ 48,000 in bonuses. Paid volunteer leave was also utilized 23 times in 2025 to support community engagement.

5. Talent Cultivation and AI Transformation

Recognizing human capital as its core differentiator, tsti invests heavily in continuous learning:

  • Upskilling Investments: In 2025, the company conducted training that reached 11,976 participants, totaling 17,737 hours of education with an investment of over NT$ 3.18 million.
  • AI and BI Practical Training: Addressing the rapid development of generative AI, tsti hosted 100 courses and activities focused on AI/BI tool applications. This program provided 108.5 cumulative hours of training to 1,040 participants, helping employees automate administrative processes and integrate AI tools like ibo.ai into daily work.
