Social Co-Prosperity

In the 2025 tsti ESG Report, the Social Co-Prosperity chapter represents a major shift from passive social awareness to proactive, measurable social impact. By aligning its core information and communications technology (ICT) capabilities with corporate volunteerism and community outreach, Tatung System Technologies Inc. (tsti) works to address environmental preservation, talent incubation, digital inclusion, and social welfare.
I. The Evolutionary Timeline of Key Achievements (2022–2025)
The report tracks its social co-prosperity achievements through a chronological progression:
- 2022 (Smart Solutions Foundation): Won the "Smart City Innovative Application Award" and integrated core ICT capabilities to design sustainable digital solutions, including AIoT Smart Restrooms, Net-Zero Carbon Integrated Management Systems, and Telemedicine Consultation Platforms.
- 2023 (Expanding Support & Sports): Sponsored the Taiwan Women's Open Golf Tournament; provided educational support to underprivileged indigenous students; and participated in local community health promotion events.
- 2024 (Earning Wellness & Safety Laurels): Maintained its iSports Enterprise Certification (valid from 2024 to 2027); held Health Promotion Workplace Certification (2021–2024); pledged as a Corporate Health Responsibility (CHR) enterprise; and participated in local health association actions.

II. Core 2025 Action Initiatives and Concrete Outcomes
Within the larger blueprint of "Social Co-Prosperity," tsti groups its actions and quantified impacts across five core dimensions:
1. Environmental Stewardship: From "Awareness" to "Action"
tsti encourages employees to step out of the office and directly engage in environmental protection:
- Wetlands Education: In August 2025, the company hosted the seminar "Discovering the Beauty of Wetlands", helping employees understand the Tamsui River basin ecosystem and the threats to wetland biodiversity.
- Tamsui River Cleanup: In November 2025, a joint initiative mobilized 62 participants—including employees, families, and supply chain partners—for a river cleanup campaign titled "Do One Thing for the Tamsui River". The team cleared 163 kg of waste (including approximately 900 discarded PET bottles) and rescued native wildlife trapped in debris.
- Volunteer Leave Incentive: Participating employees were granted 4 hours of paid volunteer leave to foster an active volunteering culture.
2. Disadvantaged Empowerment and Youth Support
tsti structures its community contributions to support local capacity building:
- Indigenous Children Service Program: Entering its 9th consecutive year of partnership with the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF), this program helped 9 children complete tribal cultural capacity-building courses, with 6 successfully passing evaluations to qualify as "Junior Cultural Tour Guides" to preserve local tribal traditions.
- Ocean Blue Basketball Project: In alliance with World Vision Taiwan, tsti shifted resources toward this structured sports program to guide underprivileged youth in building self-discipline, honor, and peer co-learning.
- Step30 "Shoes for Orphan Souls" Drive: Employees donated 135 pieces of clothing, 42 pairs of shoes, and 19 backpacks for overseas humanitarian aid, with tsti absorbing all logistics and freight costs to maximize efficiency.
3. Cultivating the Next Generation of ICT Talent
To act as an incubator for ICT professionals, tsti works to bridge campus education with actual career tracks:
- Academic Partnerships: The company signed strategic Letters of Intent (LOIs) with 3 academic institutions. This includes a formal agreement with National Taipei University (NTPU), allocating an annual development budget of NT$ 150,000.
- Campus Outreach: Conducted 2 corporate campus visits, 1 in-person recruitment seminar, and 1 virtual recruitment session across 4 target universities.
- Internship-to-Hire Pipeline: Integrated students into real-world technology projects and completed performance evaluations. In the second half of 2025, tsti successfully converted qualified interns into full-time employees.
4. Sustainable Daily Life Practices
Within the workplace, carbon reduction has evolved into a spontaneous everyday habit:
- Employees champion low-carbon, plant-based meal practices.
- The company enforces turning off office lights for one hour during the daily lunch break and supports global Earth Hour campaigns.
- In October 2025, the company hosted a Jiantan Mountain Hiking Family Day, inviting 300 employees and family members to connect with nature and support physical health.
III. Technology for Social Good: Digital Enablement
The highlights of tsti's social impact include its deployment of core proprietary AI and IoT technologies to build digital public infrastructure that addresses societal challenges:
- Case Study I: AIoT Low-Carbon Smart Restroom
- The Technology: Integrates IoT sensors to monitor indoor air quality (NH3 and H2S) and consumables, along with millimeter-wave (mmWave) radar systems to detect accidental falls and prolonged abnormal occupancy. Pushes automated maintenance alerts via instant messaging, shifting venue upkeep from manual patrols to data-driven proactive operations.
- Strategic Deployments: Scaled from the Siraya National Scenic Area (2023) and Kaohsiung Port Cruise Terminal (2024) to managing event-driven visitor spikes in 106 restrooms at the Taipei Performing Arts Center (TPAC) in 2025.
- ESG Impact: Advances SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities), reduces water and power waste, protects public safety, and resolves municipal labor shortages.
- Case Study II: Taobao AI Quick Search (Taoyuan City Gov)
- The Technology: Integrates tsti's proprietary ibo.ai Enterprise AI Assistant Platform with the Taoyuan Residential and Real Estate Information Portal. Users can query complex actual price land registrations via simple natural language text or voice prompts, eliminating 90% of conventional query steps.
- Social Impact: Promotes digital equality for senior demographics and non-specialist citizens. The portal has surpassed 40 million cumulative visits.
- Accolade: This successful public-private partnership won the "Best Application System Award" at the 21st Golden Map Awards, conferred by the Taiwan Geographic Information Society (TGIS).
