Letter from tsti Chairman: Sustainable Governance and Fulfilling Global Citizen Responsibilities

The year 2024 marked a pivotal milestone in Tatung System Technologies Inc. (TSTI)’s continued efforts toward sustainable development. In response to a rapidly evolving global business landscape and escalating climate challenges, we have remained steadfast in our principle of prudent management. Guided by the core belief of “Social Participation and Shared Value through Technology,” we have deepened ESG governance practices and integrated AI-driven digital transformation strategies. By leveraging the positive power of technology, we are helping industries upgrade and fulfill our long-term commitments to both the planet and society.
Strengthening Governance Resilience to Build Sustainable Foundations
A sound governance system forms the cornerstone of corporate sustainability. In 2024, we further enhanced our risk resilience by integrating internal and external risk assessments and adopting ISO/IEC 27701:2019, an international standard for information security and privacy protection. We incorporated sustainability data management into our internal control systems to strengthen our operational risk defenses.
TSTI continues to maintain transparent and honest communication with stakeholders through institutional investor conferences, our official website, the annual report, and this ESG report. We have obtained third-party verification of our GHG inventory in accordance with ISO 14064-1:2018, alongside external assurance of our sustainability report, and were honored with the Platinum Award for Sustainability Reporting from the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA), underscoring our commitment to transparency and credibility.
Driving Green Transformation to Build a Sustainable Value Chain
In the face of climate extremes, TSTI has set an ambitious carbon reduction target for 2030. Through annual GHG inventories and third-party verification, we ensure our decarbonization progress remains open and transparent. We work closely with supply chain partners to promote ESG evaluations and green procurement practices. In 2024, we revised both the Sustainable Supplier Management Policy and the Supplier Introduction and Management Guidelines to integrate sustainability considerations into supply chain governance.
Our green procurement value exceeded NTD 3 million in 2024, achieving 153% of our target. On December 20, we also approved and implemented the Energy Management Policy and Waste Management Policy, reinforcing our commitment to environmental governance. Additionally, we continued promoting environmental sustainability by replacing aging equipment with energy-efficient alternatives and optimizing our office environment—furthering our contribution to a greener planet.
Caring for Employee Well-Being and Fostering Social Good
Our employees are the driving force behind innovation and growth. TSTI adheres to the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, ensuring a workplace that supports physical and mental health, safety, and lifelong learning. We offer psychological support, fitness subsidies, and improvements to the working environment, cultivating a healthy, positive, and inclusive workplace.
We also encourage employee participation in the ACE (AI, Cloud, ESG) innovation initiatives and cross-disciplinary learning programs to enhance digital literacy and engagement. TSTI continues to support remote education and underprivileged families and actively participates in public welfare initiatives such as charity walks and beach cleanups—amplifying our social impact and responding to the expectations of the community with tangible actions.
Innovating Toward Transformation and Becoming a Sustainability Benchmark
Looking ahead to 2025, the intersection of sustainability and technological innovation will become even more critical. TSTI will continue to center its strategy on the "tsti OneService" one-stop platform, integrating four key pillars: Smart IoT, Net Zero Solutions, Data Applications, and AI Implementation. These efforts aim to enhance operational efficiency and carbon management capabilities for our clients.
Through the Data Center-SI initiative, we are boosting data operational performance, and with AI-SI, we are advancing AI empowerment across industries. By collaborating with global partners, we are building future-ready intelligent competitiveness and striving to become a vital force in the digital and sustainable transformation of industries.
We deeply appreciate the trust and support from all sectors. TSTI will continue to honor its commitment to “Social Participation and Shared Value through Technology,” moving forward with steady steps, forward-thinking vision, people-centered care, and the power of technology—working hand in hand with all stakeholders to create a smarter, more sustainable, and better-shared future for the next generation.
